April 22-24, 2019. The CENTRA organization (Collaborations to Enable Transnational Cyberinfrastructure Applications) held its annual conference immediately preceding the PRAGMA 36 conference in Jeju, South Korea.
CENTRA has a Visualization Alliance working group, co-chaired by Jason Leigh (SAGE2 principal investigator) and Jason Haga (AIST and SAGE2 user) that promotes SAGE2 among CENTRA members. There is much interest and several groups – notably University of Kansas (LifeMapper) and INESC TEC (Portugal-based advanced computing institution that consists of 6 sites and 13 R&D Centers) – are building several tiled display walls for collaboration and education.
